ACUPUNCTURE is the insertion of sterile needles (which are extremely thin, stainless steel, single-use/hermetically sealed, and contain no medicine) through the skin at strategic points of the body, in order to address pain, stress, fatigue, and other physical, mental, and emotional imbalances. Developed over thousands of years as a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture can be utilized to address NEUROMUSCULOSKELETAL PAIN & CONDITIONS, as well as more SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS, such as low energy, poor digestion, sleeping difficulty, and nervous system disorders.

DRY NEEDLING is the insertion of acupuncture needles into muscles, tendons, ligaments, or other tissues, in order to treat pain or movement problems. This is a method of trigger point therapy and intramuscular stimulation, and is utilized TO ADDRESS MUSCULOSKELETAL CONDITIONS. The method used at Groch Wellness involves minimal manipulation of needles once inserted, so it is far more relaxing for most patients than some other methods used elsewhere.
